Here at Delta Bluegrass Company, we continue to strive for the most efficient resources to deliver our fresh products to your home, jobsite, nursery’s and distributor outlets throughout Northern California. In addition to this effort, we maintain the highest regards for the safety of our drivers and the automobiles amongst them on our highways and byways.

As the first turfgrass company in California to feature these rolling billboards, we have been recognized as having the latest and greatest trailers for our delivery system. Nine of our rolling billboards have been on the road now since early 2005 and have been received throughout the industry as

“innovative, safety conscious, creative and beautiful".

Our covered wagons have modern technology with an automatic rolling system that allows our drivers to load, unload and deliver your sod in the most efficient and timely manner! It only takes approximately three to four minutes for each side of the tarp to roll up. This enables the drivers to “drop and drive away” from the project site or home with minimal stand-by time. This is one of the priorities that Delta Bluegrass values to ensure our drivers stay on their daily delivery time schedules.

In addition to our schedule, our new tarp system is also safety conscious. The pallets are secured on a line inside the trailer which keeps the sod from shifting during transport. Also, on average, our semis travel approximately three to four hundred miles a day – driving amongst you and your families. The new tarp system assures the utmost safety regulations for carrying our loads for delivery.
